Getting it right !

We make certain that behind the scenes everything is in place to make sure that Cherries runs successfully and covers all required regulations.

This is especially important in these changed times and we adhere to a comprehensive Covid-19 policy.

We send all our newly registered families our full policy pack and they are asked to complete a new registration form twice yearly.

We are not required to have an Ofsted or similar registration as we do not fall within their remits for registration. We are branded as an activity club that runs a maximum session of 1hr 30 mins and the maximum of workshop days each calendar year.

We hold public liability insurance to 5 million pounds.

We hold official lettings with Leeds City Council for the clubs held within Leeds Schools.

Performing - We perform only in venues that hold a PRS licence. We are aware of PRS and copyright requirements for performing musical theatre numbers.

Children taking part in our shows do so in Cherries or Next Stepz t shirts so as not to replicate original copywritten costumes. We always welcome props though :) We choreograph our own dances and use limited numbers of songs from each Musical when exploring them.

We are aware of the requirements for children's performance as set by Leeds City Council.
